Our extensive book listings are taken from publishers listings of books available in New Zealand, Australia, United States and the United Kingdom.
Expected delivery times are displayed when a title is selected. Generally, titles in stock in New Zealand are shipped within 7-10 days of order (depending on stock availability). A further 10-20 days should be added for titles sourced from Australia, the United States or the United Kingdom. Once a book is selected, delivery times are displayed. PLEASE NOTE THAT DELIVERY TIMES ARE BASED ON INFORMATION SUPPLIED BY PUBLISHERS AND ARE SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION BY PUBLISHERS.
Imported books are priced depending on the current exchange rate from the country of origin and include the cost of importation. All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars. PLEASE NOTE THAT PRICES ARE BASED ON INFORMATION SUPPLIED BY PUBLISHERS AND ARE SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION BY PUBLISHERS. Should the price change for any reason, we will contact you first before shipping your order to confirm you wish to proceed with the purchase. Remember, we will not charge your credit card until we ship the books to you.

The first time you visit Seekmedia Ltd. and want to order a book, we create your Customer Account. You enter your personal information (name, address, phone, etc.) only once and then every time you return to the site to make a purchase, all you have to do is enter your user name and password. We retrieve all your personal information from our database. For safety reasons, you must enter credit card information each time you visit.
To make it easy to return to Seekmedia Ltd., we suggest you bookmark our site. Bookmarking is simple. Just follow these instructions:
We back every purchase you make by credit card at Seekmedia Ltd. by our Safe Shopping Guarantee. We use the latest encryption technology to keep your personal information safe and we do not release it to any outside organisation. If fraudulent charges are ever made on your credit card arising from use on this site, you will not have to pay for them.
Seekmedia Ltd. keeps all personal information submitted to us in the strictest confidence. The information is stored on a secured server and is only used to process your orders or for promotional purposes by us to you. Should your personal information be used for promotional purposes, this will only be done so by Seekmedia Ltd. and will not be used where you have specifically requested us not to do so. Your personal information will not be released to anyone other than is necessary to fulfill your order. We do not rent or sell your name, address, credit card information or other personal information to any third party without your permission. However, we must cooperate fully should a situation arise where we are required by law or legal process to provide information about a customer.
Our Search Engine is located at the top of the Home Page. If you already know the title or author of the book you want, type in the title, author's name, or, if you know it, the ISBN of the book, select the corresponding button and then click on Search.
If you have no specific book or author in mind and you just want to browse through our extensive database, then use our general search facilities. Here we offer you a number of different methods:
We have made every effort to make buying a book from our store as simple as possible. Use the search facility to look up a book and once you have found a title in the format you want to buy, click on the title and you will be taken to a page devoted to that title. To place your order, click on "Add to Shopping Basket". Once you have placed the item in your basket, you can choose to "Check Out" or "Continue Shopping".
When you click on "Check Out", you are taken to your shopping basket. Here you can review your purchases and if necessary, make changes to your order.
If you decide you don't want to buy a particular title and want to take an item out of your shopping basket, click on the "Delete" button next to the title.
If you want to change the number of copies you want to buy of a particular title, highlight the number in the "Quantity" box by left-clicking on your mouse, type in the number of copies you now require, and click on the "Update Basket" button.
When you are happy with your order and are ready to purchase your items, click on the "Check Out Now" button.
If you are a new customer, click on the "Create New User Account" button and enter the required information. This is where you will create your User Name and Password, which will enable you to shop in future without having to type in your personal details again. Your User Name should be your email address.
When you have completed the form, select the delivery option you prefer, and then click on the "Continue with Order" button.
Check that the "Billed To" and "Shipped To" addresses are correct. If you need to make changes, click on the "Back" button.
Select your credit card type and expiration date from the drop-down menus and enter your card number in the box. Please note we do not charge your credit card until books are ready to be despatched.
If you are a return customer, enter your User Name and Password, and click on "Log In". Check that your personal details are correct. If you need to change anything, simply type the new information over the existing details. Your new information will be saved automatically. Select the delivery option you prefer, and then click on the "Continue with Order" button. Click on the "I Accept" button.
Once you you have completed the ordering proceedure you will get an online acknowledgement. It is recommended that you print this out for your own records as the order reference will assists us in tracking your order should that be necessary. You will also receive an order confirmation by email.
If you wish to pay by cheque or money order click on the arrow to the right of the credit box to release the dropdown payment menu and select the "cheque/money order" option. You must then send a cheque or money order for the full amount made out to SeekMedia Ltd. Door 2, 61 Tidal Rd, Mangere, Auckland, New Zealand. Your order will not be processed until the funds have been cleared.
We are able to gift-wrap any of the books in our database at a cost of NZD $3.00 per item. This option is located within the checkout procedure. Simply select the wrap of your choice and we’ll do the rest. If you want, we’ll even include a personal message. A message can only be included if you select the option to have your books gift wrapped
Please note that if you have multiple items within your order and you require gift-wrapping, all items have to be gift-wrapped. We do not offer item by item gift-wrapping within a single order.
Orders for delivery within New Zealand:
Shipping rates may change from time to time. See current shipping rates on book detail pages or when checking out your order. Please note that if your order requires more than one sending then you will only pay one delivery charge on the first despatch any subsequent deliveries are not charged.
Overseas delivery:
Shipping rates may change from time to time. See current shipping rates on book detail pages or when checking out your order.
All books for delivery within New Zealand are sent from our St. Lukes Fulfillment Centre via New Zealand Post or other recognised couriers. Books for overseas delivery are sent by New Zealand Post or by other couriers.
Seekmedia Ltd. will accept returns of books with a delivery note, within 30 days of purchase. If you have no packing slip, please return the book with a copy of the order acknowledgement email you received on placing your order.
If you were given the book as a gift, don’t worry if there is no price on the delivery note, we can trace the amount paid.
Returned items must be in resaleable condition.
When returning items to our Customer Service Centre, please indicate the reason for your return on the reverse side of the packing slip and include the packing slip in the box. For your protection, you may wish to send your return via insured parcel post. Please send all returns to:

Seekmedia Ltd. cannot pay for return shipping charges unless we have made a shipping error. All returns, including any credits applied for return shipping charges, will be credited to the credit card used in the purchase. We will make every effort to process returned items within 7-10 business days. Please note that it may take 2-7 working days for your bank to post the credit to your statement.
We guarantee the book you purchase will reach you in good condition. If it doesn't or you are not completely satisfied with it for some other reason, please return the item to us (within 30 days of receipt) and we will replace or refund the full cost of the book. Shipping and handling expenses are not subject to refund unless the book was damaged or we shipped you the wrong product. If so, we will absorb the costs to send you the correct item. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club credit cards. Credit cards are handled by our secure server. Credit card payments are not charged to your credit card until the books are ready to be despatched.
You can also pay by cheque, money order or bank draft. Payment should be made out to SeekMedia Limited. Should you elect to pay by these methods the order is not processed until the funds are cleared.
All prices are inclusive of GST where applicable.
We do not currently accept purchase orders since all orders must be pre-paid. If you are a corporate or organizational customer, please contact us at nzsupport@seekbooks.co.nz to make special arrangements.
