My Body Rules is an interactive story book aimed at supporting you to undertake protective behaviours education with your child to aid in increasing their safety and protection. The book is designed for parents to read to their children and to discuss and complete activities together. This story follows Sarah and her friends who make a special presentation to their class about safety. They discuss concepts such as 'kids body rights and rules' all from a child's perspective. They also explore some of the challenges kids might face regarding their personal safety and look at strengthening their protective networks.

Caryn Andersen is a Social Worker who is passionate about children's safety. She is currently in private practice and specialises in working with children, adolescents and their families. Caryn has spent many years working in the child protection field, both government and non-government in Australia and the U.K. Melanie Howe is a Psychologist who specialises in working with children and adolescents. For the past ten years she has worked in the child protection field as a therapist, consultant and trainer. Melanie has written and been involved in the development and delivery of various protective behaviour initiatives to indigenous and non-indigenous communities in Queensland.
