Author description

Fay Sweet is a leading writer and broadcaster on architecture and interiors, writing mostly for the London Evening Standard and Homes & Gardens, as well as appearing regularly on television and radio. She is the author of more than twenty books, including international bestsellers Space, More Space, The Kitchen Design Planner, and Bright Ideas: Kitchens, and Bright Ideas: Bathrooms. With a background in journalism, working on such titles as World of interiors and Architects' Journal, she was one of the first authors to blur the boundary between architecture and interiors, making the architecture accessible to the regular householder.
