With the increasingly strong influence young Hollywood celebrities are having on the worldwide fashion scene, Teenage Fashionista charts the continuous style evolution of some of today's most promising and youthful singers, actors, socialites and stars. From Dakota Fanning to Blake Lively and Selena Gomez, all of your favourite celebs are here! With an in depth look at the different styles, looks and statements that young Hollywood is currently making through their ever changing fashion choices, this book also covers the influence that popular culture has had on the teenagers of this world. Whether it's the preppy style from your favourite Gossip Girl character that you love or the grunge look of the early 90s seen in television shows like Beverly Hills 90210 or the hit movie Clueless, this book will chronicle how those looks came about and how you can achieve your own version using pieces in your wardrobe. Including awesome fashion quizzes, a huge list of must visit fashion websites, a look at some of the most iconic, youthful fashion brands across the globe, a glance at celebrities as muses and your very own guide to shopping where your favourite stars shop, Teenage Fashionista also takes a serious look at how you can get your foot in the door of the one and only intriguing fashion industry. With expert tips, interviews and advice from some of the leading fashionista's in Australia, this book will also tell you how to become a fashion editor, how to start your own label, how to run your own online boutique and even how to organise your wardrobe. With contributors including the Junior Fashion Editor of Girlfriend Magazine, world-famous indigenous model Samantha Harris and designers from Evil Twin, Kookai and accessories brand, Lovisa, Teenage Fashionista has every single one of your fashion needs covered. This book won't tell you where to get your new pair of jeans from, but it will tell you how to style them like your favourite star and how to rock every outfit with confidence. With 224 pages of fashion goodness aimed directly at the Australian teen, what more could you want?
